In 1995, reports from Puerto Rico described a terrifying creature blamed for the unexplained deaths of livestock. Witnesses claimed the animal struck under cover of darkness, leaving behind puncture wounds and carcasses drained of blood. Similar sightings soon spread across Mexico and the American Southwest, transforming the Chupacabra into one of the world's most infamous modern cryptids.
