Descriptions vary, but many witnesses report a large wolf-like animal with glowing eyes, powerful shoulders, and an eerie cry unlike that of any known predator.

Though no physical evidence has ever confirmed its existence, the legend of the Ozark Howler continues to haunt one of America's oldest mountain ranges.
